Mad Tracks
There are two different single player modes: adventure and arcade. Adventure has you going through 15 different tracks/ events against four none-player-characters. One is more racing based, while the other is more of a mini game based. They both lead you to a big one lap race, which has everything unlocked.
When you finish first in a race you get a gold medal. Second gets you a silver medal. Third gets you a Bronze medal. The racing one has you go onto dirt tracks, a restaurant race, and more competitive games, while the mini games where more laid back. Whenever you finish in the top three in a race on either category, you unlock the next race in both categories. They both deviate into each other categories, for example in the racing based there is a mini golf game and in the mini game has time trial races. They both add up for an exciting game. The arcade mode leaves you go to a lot of tracks and add more cars. It also leaves you change form light cars to sport cars. The multi-player mode is the same. The only flaws I saw was that some of the power-ups seem not affect the none-player-characters in the higher difficulties. Also another negative was that in the last mission you sometimes got stuck on a piece of debris and it was difficult to get off of. The graphics are the best I saw on the Xbox Live Arcade game yet. They are crisp and refreshing compared to the usual ten plus years old games. The cars and tracks are simply fantastic. They still are arcade graphics but they are great and fitting for the game. They have better graphics then some of the sixty dollar games. The sound is pretty good. Nothing fantastic, but a great in the variety of the beats of music. The sounds of the engines sound fake, but they were supposed to sound unreal. The play through time varies. For easy going for gold 2-3 hours, medium 3-5, and for hard 5-6. If you for all the achievement (on that difficulty) sand gold: easy 3-4 hours, medium 4-6 hours, and hard 6-9 hours. These are rough estimates. The free racing games check value is tremendous with the new expansions coming. The on-line adds a 10-20 hours. The achievements are very difficult, so that adds 5 hours if you go for them all. With friends it could last much longer!
